ScanFox Privacy Policy

ScanFox is a document scanning app developed by Wang Shaoyi.

  1. Overview ScanFox lets users scan documents, import photos, extract text with OCR, add signatures, and export PDFs.
  2. Data We Collect ScanFox does not require account registration. ScanFox does not collect, store, sell, or share your scanned documents, imported images, extracted text, or signatures on our servers.
  3. On-Device Processing Document scanning, image enhancement, OCR, signature placement, and PDF generation are processed on your device.
  4. Permissions Camera: used only when you choose to scan a document. Photo Library: used only when you choose to import images from your device.
  5. Purchases If you subscribe to ScanFox Pro, purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive your full payment card information.
  6. Data Storage Your documents and related content are stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, locally stored content may also be removed unless backed up by your device or operating system.
  7. Third Parties The current version of ScanFox does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party cloud document processing services.
  8. Children’s Privacy ScanFox is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
  9. Changes We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
