## What FitSize Does

FitSize helps you compress a photo to a target file size such as 500 KB, 1 MB, or 2 MB.

All image processing happens locally on your device.

## Common Questions

### Does FitSize upload my photos?

No. FitSize processes images locally on your device.

### Why does the app save a JPG copy?

FitSize exports a compressed JPG copy so the final file size is more predictable and easier to control.

### Why does the app ask for Photos permission?

FitSize needs Photos access so you can pick an image and save the compressed result back to your library.

### Why does the app ask for Camera permission?

Camera access is only used if you choose to take a new photo inside the app.

### Why is my result not exactly the same size as the target?

FitSize tries to get under your selected limit whenever possible while keeping the best practical image quality. Some images may end up near the target rather than matching it exactly.
